Verrucolette
The village of Verrucolette is located on the top of a hill (in Latin verruca, from which the toponym originates) which dominates the right bank of Lake Gramolazzo, surrounded by greenery among centuries-old chestnut forests.
The town has long followed the events of Gorfigliano from which it detached itself, obtaining recognition as an autonomous and independent parish, only in the last century. However, it has an ancient history and, in its vicinity, there are the smaller settlements of "Canipaia" and "Foresto".
