Monte Argegna

Monte Argegna is the peak (1019 m asl) overlooking the Passo dei Carpinelli and offers a wonderful panorama that ranges from the highest peaks of the Apuan Alps to the sea, when the weather conditions are favorable.

On its top there is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Guard, built in the nineteenth century and a popular destination for pilgrims and simple tourists who take advantage of the meadows surrounding the sacred place and the accommodation facilities present for the classic summer trip.

Not far from the Sanctuary is the Votive Bell of the Alpini, a monument erected in 1982 in remembrance of the Alpine Divisions Cunense, Julia, Tridentina, Taurinense, Graian Alps, Pusteria.
