From Gorfigliano to the Aronte refuge

The route starts from the carriage road south of Gorfigliano, from which it branches off at a tunnel and takes place entirely on the marble road that leads to the Focolaccia quarries.
The route is evident and is signposted only with the path's starting poles, the application of the red-white signs is useless.
Paths 178 and 179 detach in successive points from the marble factory, both of which head towards Foce di Cardeto.
The route continues with the same number beyond the Rifugio Aronte, in the direction of Foce della Vettolina and Canale Carignano, up to Forno.
